ISF WORLD CUP 2016
World circuit: 5 Salons, 5 different countries, with 5 different juries.
FRANCE, ITALY, MACEDONIA, SPAIN, VIETNAM
RULES
This regulation has been prepared in accordance with the recommendations of PSA and ISF.
ENTRANTS: The Biennial is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the sponsoring organization believes the entry does not conform to exhibition rules and conditions. All the acceptances will be valid for ISF, PSA, GPU and “PSA star rating” distinctions.
SECTIONS: There are 2 sections:
- A = Open Monochrome
- B = Open Color
An image is considered to be Monochrome only if it gives the impression of having no color (i.e. contains only shades of gray which can include pure black and pure white) OR it gives the impression of being a greyscale image that has been toned in one color across the entire image. (For example by Sepia, red, gold, etc.) A greyscale or multi-colored image modified or giving the impression of having been modified by partial toning, multi-toning or by the inclusion of spot coloring does not meet the definition of monochrome and shall be classified as a Color Work.
WORKS: Each author may submit up to four different works in each section. The works will be presented to the judges at random.
Images accepted in a previous ISF World Cup or which, in the opinion of the organizers, are too similar to those accepted in a previous ISF World Cup, will not be judged.
Any image with a signature, a logo or a sign of recognition will be refused.
The entrant can submit the images created on film-based photography or digital medium but all images must be produced through photographic techniques.
All images must be the full property of the author who may not incorporate elements produced by others and be guaranteeing the image rights of people appearing on the pictures. Any changes on the original image must be performed by the author.
The author authorizes the organizers to reproduce all or part of his/her pictures, free of charge, in publications or any kind of media to promote the 2016 World Cup.
Each photograph must bear a single title. Such title as “No title” will not be accepted.
PRESENTATION: In JPG format with a 300 dpi resolution (for catalogue purposes). Minimum image size is 1,920 pixels wide (horizontal) and 1,080 pixels high (vertical). We recommend an sRGB color space.
A high definition file (2,000 x 3,000 pixels) will be requested for catalogue purposes.
FILE NAME: No special recommendation as concerns the name of the file. It can be the same as the title of the photo. Please only use roman letters (A to Z). Please do not use (/ : ; *» # , ?).
HOW TO ENTER:
Online submission, the registration, the images uploading and the payment must be made through the Internet from our website www.isfworldcup.com by following the instructions.

ENTRY FEE FOR 5 SALONS
- ISF members : € 30 for one section, € 45 for two sections.
- Non-members : € 50 for one section, € 60 for two sections.
PAYMENT: Fees must be paid by PayPal from the registration form on our website. Payments by cheque payable to “Image Sans Frontière” are accepted only in France.

JUDGING: The judgment will be held simultaneously in the 5 organizing countries.
Acceptance rate: 25% - 30% according to the overall level of participation.
The photos will be judged on full HD 22 inch screens (1920 x 1080).
PRIZES: The appointed juries will select the best works and will award prizes. Their verdicts will be final. An author will not obtain more than one award per section in each judgment.
NOTIFICATION : Each author will receive an individual notification of his/her results by email.
The list of awarded and accepted works will be available on the ISF website:
www.image-sans-frontiere.info and on www.isfworldcup.com
CATALOGUE: A book with the overall results, awarded and selected works will be sent to all participants, whether their works are accepted or not.
Awarded and selected images will be displayed on the ISF website at the end of the judgments.
REPRODUCTION OF WORKS: By the fact of his registration, every participant guarantees that every work belongs exclusively to him or her and authorizes the organizers to exhibit and to reproduce the works, in full or in part, without payment of rights, for the promotion of the Biennial event and of Image Sans Frontière.
The participants assume their full responsibility concerning the possible rights of third parties and any claim for damages concerning image copyrights.
EXHIBITIONS: If the winning works at the Biennial have to be printed for the exhibition, the organization of the World Cup can request authors to send the pictures with good quality printing resolutions and size.
PLEASE NOTE: By participating, each author agrees to accept all the terms and conditions of this Regulation. In case of any unpredictable event, the organizer will not be held responsible.
The members of the Management Committee are not allowed to participate.
